Yeah microchip @Natan L is right. My brother has ubuntu, got WINE+Winetricks, and now he can run any windows stuff on his laptop. Maybe if it works for you you can give people the introduction on how to? For the half n00bs I guess .

@Microchip PS can work on macs and linux.

Google (or bing, ask, etc.) WINE. Its lets you run windows programs on non-windows OS’es.

WINE + winetricks (shell script)
Using wine to run the exe, using winetricks to download the needed DLLs
